Quality Statement

We Research It Ltd offers social research and consultancy to private, statutory and voluntary sector clients. We also offer project management, writing and training. We specialise in equalities, partnership working on services for children and young people, substance misuse, mental health, housing and homelessness and user participation.

We achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003. Our quality manual is available on request. It is a long and detailed document, so we have written this statement to summarise our approach to ensuring quality.

We ensure quality by:

1. Accepting work within our areas of expertise
2. Working to full and clear briefs from clients
3. Communicating clearly and thoroughly with clients
4. Maintaining clients' confidentiality in accordance with our confidentiality procedure
5. Conducting research in accordance with our statement of research ethics
6. Using the most appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative research techniques for each research commission
7. Writing research reports and other materials in plain English
8. Meeting deadlines
9. Seeking feedback on the quality of our work from clients, and using any feedback received to improve our practice
10. Handling any complaints in accordance with our complaints procedure
11. Operating excellent internal management of the company's finances, staff and workload, using professional advisers such as accountants and solicitors, and undertaking training, when necessary
12. Reviewing the company's procedures and statements at least once a year, and revising them if necessary
